It Was A Good Day For A Groundbreaking
The site formerly known as Ford Cleveland Engine Plant No 2 officially has a new name. Forward Innovation Center, as it will now be known, was formerly announced to the public last Wednesday during a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by Weston at the Brook Park site. Esteemed members of the community gathered to witness us literally “move that truck!” as the new logo and project name were revealed. The event was well attended and included mayors, city council members, community business leaders, local media, and political representatives. You may have even seen TJ Asher, President of Weston Acquisitions, being interviewed on the local news about this monumental project which has been referred to as “the best site in the nation” due to its close proximity to the airport, NASA, the Aerozone Alliance, I-480, I-71, and the Ohio Turnpike. Speakers included Brook Park Mayor Michael Gammella, TJ Asher, Tracy Green, Kevin DiGeronimo, and Jacob Holdeman from Scannell Properties. Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, who was not in attendance but wrote a congratulatory letter read by TJ, described the project as “a testament to your commitment to the workers in Ohio and our Cleveland community.” The partnership looks forward to announcing more details for the property in the coming months.
