Electric automobile manufacturer Rivian moves into largest free-standing building at Greylyn
Rivian, a nationally based publicly traded company, has leased our largest free-standing building located at 9309 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC 28270. The building spans 44,048 square feet, accounting for 7% of the total portfolio at Greylyn Business Park. This is a long-term agreement with both parties committing to significant investments. This space is designated for office use, storage, and an automated sales lot. This successful deal was made possible by our exceptional team at Weston and our property management team, Cushman & Wakefield, at Greylyn Business Park.
Rivian specializes in producing all-electric, made-to-order adventure vehicles. In contrast to traditional gasoline vehicles, the EV service experience is notably cleaner and quieter. Services offered at this location will include tire changes, wheel alignments, hardware replacements such as door handles, windshield wiper fluid top-ups, and software updates. Additionally, pre-delivery inspections will be conducted here to thoroughly review each vehicle feature before they reach their new owners.
