Weston assists Generac with renovations on their 500,000 SF distribution center in Augusta, GA
In March 2022, Weston acquired the 500,000 SF industrial building at 3464 Mike Padgett in Augusta, GA. This building was primarily occupied by Textron at the time. As Textron scaled back its operations, we began marketing the expansive facility and discovered that Generac was actively seeking a top-notch Distribution Center. Since its inception in 1959, Generac Power Systems has been dedicated to producing generators and power equipment that are reliable, durable, efficient, and environmentally friendly.
Generac needed some significant renovations, and Weston was able to accomplish this task quickly aiming at enhancing the property both inside and out while allowing Generac to move in on schedule. Through a collaborative effort, we successfully secured a long-term lease for the entire building. Team Weston is thrilled to support Generac and help establish Augusta, GA, as an additional base for their operations.
