Allen Shema serves as the Regional property manager for the Cleveland Division which includes 60 entities. Allen has been with Weston for over 20 years, beginning in the maintenance department at 18 years old. Mr. Shema has progressed through the company’s ranks to become property manager to his current position as Regional Property Manager. In addition to managing 17 tenants in 1 million square feet at Brooklyn Distribution Center in Cleveland, Mr. Shema also oversees management of the retail division located in the Southeast.

Kathy Preston has been with the company since its purchase of the Louisville Kentucky portfolio since 1985. Mrs. Preston leases and manages 5 buildings with 195 tenants and close to 2 million square feet of industrial/flex space in Louisville. She maintains high levels of occupancy and charms everyone with her Southern drawl. Holding an CPM is a standard and Weston and Mrs. Preston fulfills this requirement.

Connie Knotts began with the company buried within the mounds of paperwork in the accounting department. Out of the blue she was approached by the company’s owner, Anthony Asher, and asked if she would like to become a property manager. This unlikely question was posed in 1998, and Mrs. Knotts has not looked back. She now manages 75 tenants , 31 projects and close to 3 million square feet of mostly industrial space in Cleveland, New Jersey and California.

Frank Lanterman

Weston would like to introduce Frank Lanterman, our new Property Manager that began his career with Weston in November. Most recently Frank was employed with RMS Investment, a subsidiary of Forest City Enterprises. Frank was the General Manager for the Parmatown Mall and Strip Center, Golden Gate Shopping Center, Van Aken Shopping Center, and Shoregate Towne Center. Frank has a solid understanding of the issues that our customers face, and the issues that he should address at our buildings. With his many years of property management experience we are looking forward to having him on Team Weston, and maybe he can teach all of us a few things too.
